About the UAP Files Archive
The UAP Files archive is an independent digital repository of declassified U.S. government records on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena — AARO intelligence disclosures, ODNI national intelligence assessments, and Department of War records on aerial encounters that the government has been officially unable to identify or explain.
The archive is built and maintained by Christopher Smoot, a software developer who specializes in building modular, automated data ingestion and search systems. Documents are processed through automated OCR transcription and full-text indexing, making primary intelligence records on unresolved UAP cases searchable and publicly accessible.
